Abstract
The goal of Shimadzu in food safety has always been to enhance innovation and awareness. Towards this, we are organizing an event focused on “Strategies for Effective Regulation in Food Safety”. Shimadzu Global Technology Forum on Food Safety 2011, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore would be a first-of-its kind dialogue between Food Safety Experts in both public and private sector.

Participants will get an up-to-date overview of the most current developments and focus areas in food safety in US, Europe, Asia & Japan, seen from the perspective of the administration, the research community and the food industry. Participants at this seminar will include representatives from the food industry, research organizations, policy makers, authorities, etc. The objective of the event is to give the participants a cross-industry platform to share experiences, network and find strategic approaches to various food safety related issues.
