To celebrate 150 years of innovation, Shimadzu unveiled an anniversary logo, collaboratively designedby employees from across the globe. The logo features a balloon, paying homage to the historic launch of Japan’s first private manned balloon by Genzo Shimadzu Sr. on December 6, 1877. This symbol embodies Shimadzu’s enduring spirit of innovation, resilience, and its commitment to embracing new challenges.
