Advancing Research In Natural Products, Metabolomics, And Food Safety

On 15 October 2025, Shimadzu proudly partnered with MMSU through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance research in natural products, metabolomics, and food safety.

This milestone also marked the inauguration of MMSU's state-of-the-art Cheminformatics and Computational Metabolomics Research Laboratory, equipped with Shimadzu's advanced LCMS-QTOF technology. Significantly, MMSU is the first institution in the Philippines to acquire Shimadzu's Q-TOF LCMS-9050, highlighting the groundbreaking nature of this collaboration. 

Together, Shimadzu and MMSU aim to drive innovation and uphold excellence in research, setting new standards in the fields of metabolomics and food safety.
