Our Vision: Driving Material Science Innovation
On 23 September 2024, the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (through the Premier Research Institute of Science and Mathematics, or PRISM) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shimadzu, marking a historic milestone as our first collaborator in Material Science research. This strategic partnership signifies a major step forward in advancing the field of Material Science, with PRISM at the forefront of pioneering new research initiatives.
Beyond advancing Material Science, this collaboration is set to unlock opportunities through the World Lab Network. By connecting PRISM with our extensive network of collaborators, the initiative is poised to explore and foster potential breakthroughs in diverse fields, including, but not limited to, Natural Products, Drug Discovery, and Nanoscience. This interconnected approach leverages collective expertise and resources, driving innovation and expanding the possibilities for scientific advancement.
