Shimadzu Asia Pacific is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Core Separations, with Shimadzu as the exclusive distributor for industrial Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) and Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) systems in Southeast Asia and South Asia excluding India.

This partnership brings together Shimadzu’s expertise in analytical and preparative scale SFC/SFE solutions and Core Separations’ specialization in scaling processes to production-scale with multiple vessels, automated switchover and extract fractionation to minimize post-processing and lowering operating costs. Together, we provide customers in food, natural products, functional ingredient industries and etc with a seamless, holistic workflow that spans from lab-scale research to full-scale production.

The adoption of supercritical fluid CO2 technologies is expanding rapidly due to their eco-friendly and efficient extraction capabilities, particularly for food authenticity, nutraceuticals, and natural compound research. By connecting Shimadzu’s analytical and preparative solutions to Core Separations’ industrial-scale expertise, customers gain access to a unified support ecosystem across all stages of production, from extraction to identification, quantification, and scale-up.
